Al Fakhro

The Al-Fakhroh Tribe , ((アラビア語:آل فخروه); also spelled Al-Fakhroo) attributing to their great grandfather Fakher from Banu Tamim.
The name Fakhroh came from their great grandfather Fakher whose son of Handalah from banu Tamim bin Mor bin Ad bin Muder bin Adnan which is considered as a very ancient Arab tribe dwelled by people from the midst of the Arabian Peninsula. 〔(Al-Azhar Nadyah, Part XIV, where Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani in the account of the historian Kamal Sayeed mentioned Al Fakhro to be from Banu-Tamim. ) ()〕 〔(Qatar in Ibn Mani diary, Page 49. ) ()〕 〔The book of Almakhladi ‘Arrawd Al Jadid’ issued by the Department of Studies and Research at the Ministry of Information and Culture in 1991, Qatar, Page 57.〕〔The Golden encyclopedia in the lineages and the families of the Arabian Peninsula, Volume II page 951, and Vol fifth page 2106.〕
== The Geographic Distribution of the Al Fakhro ==
The Al Fakhro settled in both Qatar and Bahrain during the seventeenth century. This is because they were obliged to move from Najd (Sudair region), where the well of Al-Fakhrawiya still exists, to the eastern side of the Arab Peninsula due to severe drought conditions in that period of time. In Qatar, they notably settled in the regions of Nozwah, Tembek, Tha'ayin, and Hawar Island where they built the famous wells which still exists in the Hawar island, and which dates back to the last three centuries. Moreover, the Al Fakhro is now distributed within Al-Khor, Al-Wakrah, Al-Jasra, and Doha. Some of them have settled in Al-Manama, and Muharraq, Bahrain; in ash-Sharqiyah, and Jubail, Saudi Arabia; and also in Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.〔The history of some of the incidents occurring in Najd, written by Ibrahim bin Saleh bin Issa, the first edition.〕〔‘The Tribes of the State of Qatar’, by Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Tayeb, page 329.〕
